The 40 foot High Cube pallet wide container is an advanced solution for the efficient transportation and storage of goods. With its special width of 2.5 m and the increased height of about 30 cm compared to standard containers, this container not only offers more storage space, but also optimizes loading efficiency, especially for European pallets.

Optional extras
Forklift pockets
These Forklift pockets enable the use of forklift trucks for handling empty containers. Loaded containers may only be picked up if this is expressly permitted. Forklift pockets are only present on 20 foot containers and are parallel to the floor side rails. They are rare on 40-foot containers, as the pockets are close together and can affect the balance.
Gripping edges
Some containers are equipped with gripping edges to facilitate handling with gripper arms. However, containers are usually moved over the corners with top spreaders.
Clothes rails for hanging clothes
Special rings on the roof side rails make it possible to transport hanging garments on hangers. This device is often found in imports from East Asia. Further rings are attached to the floor longitudinal beam and the corner posts.
Inlets
Plastic liners can be hung in standard containers for the transportation of bulk goods or non-hazardous liquids.
