General description
The 40 foot High Cube Open Top Container (HCOT) is an ideal choice for the transportation of oversized and bulky goods that do not fit through the standard doors of conventional containers. With a height of around 30 cm (11.81 inches) more than a standard container, the HCOT offers additional storage space and is ideal for large-volume loads such as machinery, equipment and building materials.

Forklift pockets
Some containers are equipped with forklift pockets, but these can only be used when empty.
Various lashing eyes
Various lashing eyes are attached to the upper and lower floor side rails and the corner posts, which are generally designed for a maximum permissible load of approx. 2000 kg (4,409.25 lbs).
Variants with swivel and fixed door roof support
The open top containers (OT) are available in versions with swivel and fixed door roof beams. A hinged carrier is important if overheight loads are to be loaded into the container with a forklift truck.
